SAT 81 Gultor
Sat 81 Gultor part of kopaasus group,( a portmanteau of "Satuan Penggulangan Teroris" or "Counter Terorist Task Force") was formed in 1981, and their famous operation was operation ‘Woyla” in1981. They were rescue the hostages of Garuda Flight GA 206 in Dong Muang Airport,Thailand. The operation was accomplished in 3 minutes.One of the Kopassus commandos was shot, by hijackers, as was the pilot, also by the hijackers who took shelter in the cockpit. The rest of the hostages were rescued. Two of the hijackers surrendered, but were killed on the plane taking them and the Kopassus troops back to Jakarta..The Kopassus commandos who took part in the rescue mission trained for only three days with MP 5 A2

INDONESIAN AIR FORCE BRAVO 90 DETACHMENT
Well known as Baret Jingga (Orange Beret).This unit was formed in 1990,as part of Korpaskhasau (Korps Pasukan Khas/Air Force Special Force Corps) and the youngest elite forces of Indonesian Armed forces. Bravo 90 conduct specialoperation such as direct action, unconventional warfare, sabotage, counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism, and intelligence gathering especially to support an air operation by Indonesian Air force. The unit specialize in hostage rescue involving hijacked airframes. Bravo 90 also under command of TNI HQ which mean they also conduct a join ops with another branch elite forces. Bravos personnel were recruited from the best graduates of Para-Commando trainings in the Air Force. About 5-10 graduates are recruited for this elite unit.
