Pictured is a patrol by PMT (Police Mentoring Troop), with an American FET (Female Engagement Team) and an Army influence officer. The patrol went through the Sangin bazaar, stopping at the ANP (Afghan National Police) fly over check point, then continuing to a local school in Sangin.

Pictured are members of 40 Commando and ANA (Afghan National Army) moving by Chinook from Forward Operating Base (FOB) Jackson to Camp Bastion.

Pictured to day 16th August 2010, is the PMT (Police Mentoring Troop) conducting a routine patrol around the Sangin bazaar.
The patrol left FOB (Forward Operating Base) Jackson, moving through the bazaar and stopping at Fly Over check point for a short break, before moving back to the FOB.

Today 5th June 2010, a joint forces patrol left FOB (Forward Operating Base) Jackson to the bazzar at Sangin.
The Corp Commander 2/215 Brig General Wasea of the ANA (Afghan National Army), ANA RSM, CO of 40 Commando Royal Marines Lt Col Paul James and Col Kennedy of the USMC RCT (Regional Combat Team).
The patrol went to Sangin bazzar to show a united force working together from different nations and to provide security to the people.
Brig General Wasea passed the message to the people, 'we come for the peace, not for the fight'.

As the Americans prepare for the handover of control in Sangin, from 40 Commando Royal Marines, a Royal Marine is transported by an American Chinook, from Camp Bastion to FOB (Forward Operating Base) Jackson.
