Today, I thought I'd give doing dolly doos another shot and added some beaver fur to this BBI sculpt. My hair adding technique is still a bit rough, but I'm beginning to get the hang of gluing on beaver pelt pieces and then cutting the fur into shape--still a bit of a butcher job...but thankfully getting better...hopefully one day I'll be a proficient 1/6 hair stylist
The sculpt is BBI's Brad Pitt lookalike. Because of his rather unkempt hair and beard, I thought he would make a good war weary Afrika Korps Soldat. I'm in the process of kit bashing the set which isn't complete yet. I was too lazy to repaint the head but instead weathered the face with oils to simulate a peeling sunburn. However, the eyes are repainted.
