Shaughnessy, who is from Worcester, Mass., is the only Catholic priest serving with RCT-5. Father Shaughnessy, which he is often called, routinely travels throughout the regiments' area of operations and speaks with Catholics and service members of various faiths on any issues they may have. HABBANIYAH, Iraq (June 6, 2008) - Lance Cpl. Michael W. Lund, a combat engineer with 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, searches around a bunker with a metal detector looking for weapons cache. The Marines were given intelligence about a weapons cache located in a bunker near the area. Although they did not find the specific bunker, they did find a small underground bunker that could have been used to store weapons in the future. Photo by Pfc.
