More than 6,000 U.S. troops are in the country for Balikatan 2010 which aims to enhance interoperability between the two strong allies. This year's exercise is the 26th edition of its series and will focus on humanitarian assistance training and rescue operations following the onslaught of recent typhoons and earthquakes that ravaged Manila last year, a military press statement said on Friday.
