Hi everyone,

It has been ages since I last posted a new figure here...life has been keeping me from 1/6th for the past few years. We′ll, not entirely, since I′ve busy working on some new projects for the past months, trying to pick up the hobby where I last left it and to learn new techniques.

Here′s one of the first new figures I have come up with. It′s a trooper from the 10th mountain division fighting somewhere in northern italy during the last weeks of the war. I like the "original" US mountain troops uniform - unavailable before in 1/6th - so I′ve asked Yoshinaga from Be.com Shop to make one for me...his stuff is pricey but it′s fantastic and well worth the money. As for the gear, it is a mix of DML, DiD, Soldier Story, BGT weathered and repainted. The body and headsculpt are Hot Toys - I didn′t need to modify or repaint it since it′s so good looking (I still can′t believe the range of headsculpts and bodies that have come out during the time I left 1/6th planet...).
