Staghound, Jeep and WSC with Inns of Court figures.

Here are my first images of the 10 figure group which will be the crews of my IOC vehicles. BIG thanks to Tony Barton for all his insights, references and answers to my endless questions! The beret badges are of course from Tony, beautiful work. The great looking berets are from Banjo Man. The 1st Corp and IOC shoulder insignia are from Robin at One Sixth Scale Kings. Also thanks to Andrew(Crusader) for the “44” armored car regiment insignia on the Jeep.
As with all my crews I like to make them with the “on the field” look and also look for variety in what they are wearing. A little bit of everything in these figures. Used what I call “premium” HS and each figure. The hardest single item is the anklets! Devils work for sure and I did not follow Tony’s instructions as these would have taken me another 6 months! The figures and not specific to any vehicle and will be used in any future IOC vehicle I put together in the future.
I’m very happy how these turned out and look forward to other photo shots with other figures planned for the future.

White Scout Car

Inns of Court Regiment “Devil’s Own”
1st Corps, attached to 11th Armored Division

This is my second 21C/TUS White Scout Car(WSC). This time around it is part of the Inns of Court Regiment, the Armored Car unit of the 11th AD. Used a mix from the internet blogs for the SCC2 brown color. I think it looks the part! As in my previous WSC build (one in German service) I lowered the rail on the back to make it look more like the real vehicle. Used stencils for the IOC and C squadron insignia. Used John’s Stuff decals for the “44” armored regiment insignia. I have a .50 cal mg and a .30 cal mg for future variations, but left them out of these first images. I did change some items on the headlights and the front of the vehicle. I’m planning another WSC as a 11th AD command vehicle an wanted for the vehicles to look different.

This is a Willys Jeep from GI JOE /Hasbro line, painted and weathered to serve with my Inns of Court group. A very basic vehicle but it looks fine with my other vehicles. Special thanks to Andrew(Crusader) for the “44” armoured car regiment insignia. The IOC insignia was applied with a stencil. Painted the large white star on the hood with a home made stencil. Disassembled the vehicle to make it easier to get it painted and weathered. Added a British Jerry can from FOA on the rear. Painted the vehicle with Tamiya XF-62.
