&quot;法国宪兵特勤队川GIGN是坚持使用手枪的著名例子，该部队一直持续使用法国马特拉防卫公司(Matra Defense)研制的MR73宪兵型点357 Manurhin左轮手枪。左轮手枪虽然装弹量少、火力可能无法与歹徒的冲锋枪相较，但是其机械结构简单、可靠，加上雷射瞄准器即可成为精确的攻击武器。另外，手枪皆为半自动射击(先不提一些全自动手枪)，一扣一发，可防止队员在无意识状况之下使用自动武器进行扫射，造成重大伤亡。&quot;
