作者的原话：Here are the shells, shell case, catridgees and cartridge racks and box I prepared for the gun. Hard t do any sort of dioramas without some of these pieces.

1939年9月，第二次世界大战爆发时，有3000门75毫米 le. IG 18 步兵炮进入德国国防军中服役，二战中后期被更大口径的步兵炮所取代.德语中: leichte Infanterie-Geschütz 的意思是: light infantry gun 轻步兵炮.直到1945年3月，还有2549门在德军中服役.
