The legendary leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy in a new statue by Iron Studios!
In the hallway of the mobile research facility of the High Evolutionary villain on Counter-Earth, the space adventurer part-Celestial part-human hero wields one of
his Quad Blasters in his right hand, keeping the other in his belt while he leans relaxed. The former notorious intergalactic outlaw knows and faces his responsibility as the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy in a fearless way, helping planets and populations in need. Presented firsthand at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, once
again in their booth, Iron Studios brought the statue “Star-Lord - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Art Scale 1/10”, with the legendary leader of the most beloved
group of misfit heroes in the galaxy, presenting the hero with his blue costume with details in red, inspired by his version from the comics, with the detailed face
features meticulously faithful to actor Chris Pratt, over a diorama base that reminds the interior of the Arête Laboratories, in a series with the statues of Groot and
Rocket completing the set.
In 1988, while he was still a child, Peter Quill was abducted by space pirates from Yondu Udonta’s Clan called the Ravangers, to be delivered to his father on a
different planet, but Yondu ended up raising the young Quill as his pupil. Quill then became a member of the Clan where he created his reputation as a mercenary,
self-proclaiming himself Star-Lord, a kind nickname given to him by his mother. Naturally optimistic and sarcastic, Quill has strong bonds with the music and
pop culture from the 80s, as memories and references from his life on planet Earth. He forged an alliance with the assassin Gamora; Drax, the Destroyer; Rocket
Racoon; and Groot, and together they formed the Guardians of the Galaxy. Later, Peter met his biological father, a primordial and powerful being of the race of
Celestials called Ego, a living planet with a humanoid extension of himself. Ego traveled across the entire universe, having children of humanoid aliens in many
places, in the attempt of creating a Celestial heir. He hired the Clan of Yondu to kidnap and transport some of these descendants to his planet, although none of
them proved to have inherited his Celestial DNA. At this moment, Ego killed them, and, because of that, fearing that Quill would have the same destiny, Yondu,
that got really close to the boy, opted not to hand him to Ego. Ego revealed that he was the one responsible for the death of his mother, and Quill, alongside the
Guardians, after killing his biological father and witnessing Yondu sacrifice himself, continued to lead the group and started a relationship with Gamora. The group
participated in the Infinity Saga facing Thanos, in which Gamora lost her life getting sacrificed by the titan to get the Soul Stone. Establishing themselves in the interdimensional space station and scientific observatory known as Knowhere, their lives are touched by the echoes of the turbulent past of Rocket. Peter Quill, still
recovering from the loss of Gamora, must lead his team once more to save the life of his grumpy raccoon friend.
Already available for Pre-Order, the Inside Iron Studios Day of September, the traditional monthly show on Iron Studios’ YouTube channel, presented in detail the
space adventurer hero and his allies in this new series of statues, inspired by the third part of the trilogy of movies from the team of intergalactic mercenary heroes that defend mainly the Andromeda Galaxy. I am Groot? I am Groot! I am Iron Studios!
A giant arbor with a stern countenance watch with squinted eyes and crossed arms in the cold technological hallways of the mobile research facility of the High Evolutionary villain, where his best friend was genetically and cybernetically modified in the past. Now adult and mature, with new advanced abilities, he fights alongside
his allies against the crazy geneticist and his experiments in the utopic creation of a perfect race. Seen firsthand on Iron Studios’ booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2023,
the statue “Groot - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Art Scale 1/10”, with the beloved plant hero in his most recent version in the MCU, meticulously reproduced down to
the tiniest details of the character, over a diorama base that reminds the interior of the complex spaceship of the Arête Laboratories, in a new series with the statues of
Star-Lord and Rocket completing the set.
Native of Planet X, the capital of the plant worlds, Groot is a Floral Colossi, and, even though he has human intellect, his robust and heavyweight physiology caused the
organs of his acoustic generation to become stiff and inflexible, rendering the limits of his speech to the simple phrase, “I am Groot.” Groot was locked in an intergalactic zoo, used in an exhibition for tourists. A robotic guard called Tibius Lark liked Groot and ended up freeing him. He and Lark became friends while they were traveling
the galaxy when Groot accumulated a long list of crime accusations, and then they were arrested. Lark was gravely wounded in the prison where he and Groot met
another prisoner called Rocket, who Lark started liking. Since Lark knew that his time was over, he told Rocket to take care of Groot. Lark soon later died, which allowed
Rocket to see his robotic parts. Rocket then used the parts to create a weapon. The new duo then left the dungeon, Groot with Rocket on his shoulder. Groot and Rocket Racoon then became mercenary and bounty hunter partners when they met Peter Quill, the Star-Lord, and ended up joining and creating the Guardians of the Galaxy to face the villain Ronan, the Accuser, working for Thanos. In the final battle on Ronan’s spaceship, the Dark Aster fell on planet Xandar, so Groot transformed his
body into a big wooden dome to save the other Guardians, allowing the group to survive a fall into the low orbit. Although Groot died in the crash impact, the team recovered from the forced landing, and, after defeating Ronan, Rocket then recovered a sprout from Groot’s mortal remains, and planted it in a pot. Groot slowly began
to grow up and became a new tree that, as a child, became the group’s mascot protected by Rocket. As a teenager, he fought in the Infinity Saga, where he grew his
arm to an appropriate length to break it with his hand and create the wooden handle of the enchanted axe Stormbreaker for Thor. Sometime later, in the reconstruction of Knowhere, Groot, now an adult, alongside the other Guardians, took care of Quill, who was depressed after losing Gamora. After the attack of Adam Warlock, a
super-powerful being created by the Sovereign to get revenge against the Guardians. Groot and the others found the version of Gamora from another reality, secretly
summoned by Nebula to help them save Rocket, wounded in combat. To do that, they need to face together the threats from the past of the small raccoon.
Already available in Pre-Order, details of the giant Floral space adventurer and his allies in this new series of statues were shown on the Inside Iron Studios Day of September, the traditional monthly show on Iron Studios’ YouTube channel. The second leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy also gets a new statue by Iron Studios!
Seating in a wall of electronic components inside the mobile research facility Arête Laboratories, the most sarcastic, foul-mouthed, and cynic raccoon of the galaxy holds
a blaster pistol in his right hand while he brings his improvised card key made by him with scraps to open the cages in Arête Laboratories. Wearing his blue costume with
details in red, he joins his friends and allies to face his nemesis, and free the innocent prisoners from a tragic destiny in the hands of their creator, a madman obsessed
with creating the perfect species with what he considered inferior life forms and build his own utopia. Revealed firsthand at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 in their booth,
Iron Studios brought the statue “Rocket Raccoon - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Art Scale 1/10”, the future new leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy over a diorama
base that reminds the mobile research facility of the High Evolutionary villain, in a new series with the statues of Groot and Star-Lord completing the set.
Genetically and cybernetically altered by the mad geneticist known as High Evolutionary, a raccoon kit called Subject 89P13 got enhanced intelligence and the ability to
speak. Naming himself Rocket, he grew up with strong friendship bongs with Lylla, Teefs, and Floor, other animals altered in the experiments, and kept as prisoners together with him, believing they would have the opportunity of living on peace in a new planet. After helping the High Evolutionary. After helping the High Evolutionary in
the enhancement of his experiments, Rocket found out that he, alongside his friends, would be eliminated. Rocket tried freeing them so they could escape together, but
all of them (Except the small raccoon) were killed, causing a fury attack of Rocket against his former master, that mutilated his face. Rocket boarded a ship and ran away
to the cosmos, and while traveling the galaxy he became friends with the native humanoid arbor Groot with whom he committed many crimes and got many rewards.
They met the marauder Star-Lord with whom they forged an alliance, saving the planet Xandar and defeating the Kree villain called Ronan, the Accuser, resulting in the
formation of the group known as Guardians of the Galaxy. Rocky continued working for the Guardians when they were hired by the Sovereign, another race created by
the High Evolutionary, to kill a creature called Abilisk, that consumed energy batteries. After eliminating the monster, Rocket stole the batteries to sell them, causing the
rage of the High Priestess Ayesha, who declared war on the Guardians, hiring other Ravagers mercenaries to capture them. Captured by the Clan of Yondu Udonta, a rally
promoted by Taserface and allies required Yondu and Rocket to work together, wishing to save his family of Guardians, joined Udonta in the Battle of Planet Ego. Years
later, the Guardians rescued Thor when the Asgardians were massacred by Thanos. Rocket and Groot followed Thor to Nidavellir in order to obtain an enchanted axe
Stormbreaker, and in possession of the axe, through the Bifrost Bridge, traveled to planet Earth to join the Wakanda Battle against Thanos. Rocket spent some years as a
member of the Avengers, and, after the conclusion of the Infinity Saga and the defeat of Thanos, he joined the Guardians one more time to return to their cosmic adventures. After buying Knowhere from the Collector, he helped re-constructing it, but after the attack of Adam Warlock, a being created by Ayesha as a living weapon, designed to kill the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket was gravely wounded, leading the Guardians to investigate his past to save him.
Already available for Pre-Order, the Inside Iron Studios Day of September, the traditional monthly show on Iron Studios’ YouTube channel, revealed in further detail the
small charismatic and grumpy mercenary and his allies in this new series of statues, inspired by the third part of the trilogy of movies of the team of reluctant intergalactic heroes that defend mainly the Andromeda Galaxy.
